Dr. Ronald van Oers, Trustee

Ronald van Oers is a Senior Specialist in Cultural Heritage Management at UNESCO's World Heritage Centre in Paris. He is currently serving as Acting Chief of the Latin America & Caribbean Desk, as Lead Advisor to the recent UNESCO Programme on Modern Heritage, as well as Lead Advisor to The Chinese State Office for Cultural Heritage, in conjunction with the nomination of the Chinese Silk Road to UNESCO's World Heritage List. He regularly serves as principal Project Manager, Advisor, and Mission Head, to countries and cultural ministries around the world.


Dr. Harris Moyer, Trustee

Harris Moyer is a Research Staff Engineer at Hughes Research Laboratories in Malibu, California. With an extensive background in Nonlinear Microwave Circuits, Antenna Theory, Fiber Optic Communications, and Microwave System Design, he has previously worked as Engineer, Researcher, and Consultant for such firms as Boeing Satellite Systems, Princeton Electronic Systems, and Hughes Aircraft, as well as served in various, teaching capacities at such leading, academic institutions as Drexel University and the University of California at Santa Barbara.


George Lissandrello, Trustee

George Lissandrello is COO of Wine Network Inc., an international satellite television network operating throughout several continents. As a highly respected IT specialist and senior executive he has led development and marketing operations for Columbia Communications Corporation, Northern Telecom, ICG Satellite Services, and numerous leading communications and satellite companies around the world. Previously with the IBM World Trade Corporation for over nineteen years, he was Director of IBM’s Data Communications Center in Zurich, Switzerland, and was responsible for IBM’s telecom regulations and standards policies.


Jerald Soto, Trustee and Treasurer

Jerald Soto is an in-house auditor for the Los Angeles based accounting firm of Quigley & Miron, and has previously served as the Director of Finance for The California Association of Non-Profits. He is a long-standing member of the Finance Committee for The Liberty Hill Foundation, in Santa Monica, and previously served as a member of the California Society of CPA’s Quality Reporting Project.


Guy DeFazio, Trustee and President

Guy DeFazio is President and Founder of Center for Jazz Arts, and an award-winning music scoring engineer for records, television, and film. His leading music industry clients have included Warner Brothers Records, Universal Music, Sony Music, Geffen Records, EMI Music, Bertelsmann Music Group, and Atlantic Records. His film and television industry clients have included Universal Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Lions Gate Films, USA Films, Showtime Productions, and Spelling Entertainment.
